The brand "Pinnara" was started in 2012 by Mr. Panod Chokwattanakul, who at that time received a Chinese government scholarship to further his Master's Degree in China. He had seen the popularity of Thai products among Chinese people through trade shows in China especially the products made from coconuts and the cold pressed coconut oil was also one of the most popular products among Chinese people at that time. However, the cold pressed coconut oil has a unique smell and causes greasy skin and uncomfortable feeling, so if we can fix this weakness, the cold pressed coconut oil will become the outstanding product in terms of skin care. Therefore, this was an idea to invent and produce 'PINNARA Coconut Oil Serum" product, which is a serum that can be used to nourish the skin from hair to toes. It is not greasy but comes with a delicate fragrance that makes you feel comfortable on your skin.
The Marketing of the brand was started in Thailand
In 2017, online sales in Thailand became popular and very fast-growing. The management team saw an opportunity and established Nara Tree Company Limited in Thailand and latterly improved the product package to make it easier to use, lighter weight, more suitable for postal delivery and started selling Pinnara Coconut Oil Serum through the distributor system. At present (BC 2022), Pinnara Coconut Oil Serum has been sold more than 6,000,000 bottles and exported to more than 16 countries. It has already received FDA notification from China, Vietnam, Bahrain, Japan, Korea, Cambodia , Taiwan and Indonesia as well as having distributors in many countries worldwide.
